GRIFFIN TO JOIN EGMONT

New American publisher Egmont USA announced today that they have hired Regina Griffin as Executive Editor.
Doug Pocock, Executive V.P said "It has always been our intention to be a serious player in the USA and to do that we want to hire a team of commercially astute and experienced editors. Regina fits the bill."
Griffin was formerly Editor in Chief of Holiday House, Inc. where she worked with authors and artists including Walter Dean and Christopher Myers, Cynthia Voigt, and Patricia McKissack and before that she was Executive Editor at Scholastic.
Elizabeth Law, VP and Publisher of Egmont USA, says "we are thrilled to have Regina join the Egmont team.
